Why don’t you ask her? And it shouldn’t bother you that you focus on the food. Most people do. It’s one of the central points of any culture. And you grew up with a sense of national heritage BECAUSE of the food. Hungarians, as you know, are a quite proud people, and especially proud of their national dishes. So I’m very glad that you focus on it!!!

I loved the travelogue of the weekend. It made me want to be there, AGAIN.

I ALWAYS seem to focus on the food, though. That bothers me somewhat. Whatever that was that was covered with cheese, looked “to die for.”

And everytime you talk about homemade donuts, I think of Grandmas’s.
I wish I knew how to make them.
