exactly. finding a good mexican joint here is absolutely a saving grace. ice, however, is a little harder to come by. and as you probably know, even if you ask for it, it’s like 3 cubes that just seems like a sad little tease than an actual iced drink. but you win some you lose some!

and hungarian is really neat. it’s so unfamiliar, i think, for english brains, but it’s fun to both hear and speak!

if europe had cheap beer, mexican food, and ice, i’d probably never leave.

and as for the hungarian language–several times over the course of the weekend i sat and listened to 3 hungarian girls banter. it’s a neat language. I inquired as to its roots–not romance, not indo-european or germanic–apparently it’s most closely related to Finnish. That surprised me. But I think it’s neat nonetheless.
