I can imagine. Though I haven’t been there I know it’s a beautiful country and what makes it better is that tourism is just starting to grow. It’s probably not as touristy as some other parts of the world. Thanks! I hope I get a chance to visit too

Wow what a beautiful place. This one of my my top places to go to in Croatia. If I ever am lucky enough (or can afford) to visit Croatia that is. Beautiful photos!

Hi, Could you tell me please what is the brand of the bicycle which stands next to the red one. The bicycle is painted light blue and the head tube is violet. It seems to me I have the same bicycle but I’ve been looking for many years to find out what is the brand of my bicycle and I think that now I found it but I don’t see any names????

I was really influenced by Polish poets early on, which probably explains a lot in my own writing. And then I studied under the brilliant Karen Kovacik, who is also Polish. But Szymborska was definitely my first poetry-love! If you’re looking for a great book, that one I mentioned above, view with a grain of sand, is a fantastic collection and also wonderful translation.

It’s interesting because as regimented as my own mother and grandmother are, the recipe is very conceptual, as if they have much more of a feel to it for the recipe than the actual recorded recipe. And I’ve found that the ones in Hungary and Slovakia are much different than the ones that my grandmother makes in the US, though I think she’s tried to blend the cultures!

I love these, but the secret of making them went with my grandmother and great grandmother a few years ago.

Since then, I’ve been trying to rediscover the right recipe to bring them back, much to my father and grandfather’s imense joy, though they say my filling is still too sweet.

Great story!! A TJs just oeenpd up a block and a half from my house. A BLOCK AND A HALF. The only problem is having to carry home heavy bags while walking, so I remedy that by going every day
