Usually I feel caught inside of a Louise Glück poem in the Spring, but somehow, here, the season feels different (even though it won’t officially begin until this weekend). The drama of the changing architecture and how the light finds its place between it, the shadows cast on monuments, on the Duna. From dramatic threat of storm to exquisite sun. I’m really finding this [nearly] spring to be amazing.
This weekend I’m heading to Szeged for the annual Spring Festival, an event that takes place in nearly every city and town here. The weather should do its part in helping Szeged maintain its sunshine status, and I hope to bring back some good and cheerful pictures. Until then, Happy Spring, Internet.
